Jude smiled widely and said, “Your power is your weakness.” “I told you I had you figured out, young Chief,” Jude said with a wink. Little Frog collapsed his spear, fastening it to his back. Applauds erupted around them, and Jude turned to bow dramatically at the cluster of young soldiers who had been watching their duel. “You win, you win,” he said, holding up his hands. Little Frog stared back at him for a moment, and then allowed his spear to fall to his side, shaking his head and breathing heavily. “Yield!” Jude said, a victorious grin upon his face. Little Frog managed to get his spear up to block one, but before he could redirect the magic, Jude’s second sword was at his ribs, hovering just a fingers length away from impaling him in the heart.
As his attack fell harmlessly against the stone wall, Jude was behind him swinging his swords. He tried to draw the water back towards him and shift the direction, but the force at which he had propelled it forward was too great. The Arril soldier spun out of the way, jumping towards Little Frog, and the young chief realized his mistake.

Knowing he was probably making a mistake, he thrust his left hand forward, a torrent of water rushing at Jude. Little Frog suddenly realized that he must somehow be the one who was trapped, but he did not see how. “Oh? I wonder what your next move will be…” What was he playing at? “You’re trapped,” he said carefully, the droplet of water above his left hand growing. “I know exactly what I’m doing,” he said as he continued taking slow steps backwards until his heel collided with the stone wall behind him. Jude stared back at him, the look on his face completely unreadable, a sword gripped in each hand. “Think about what you’re doing, Jude…” Little Frog said, raising his spear slightly higher.
